Kejadian berlaku pada 28 Februari lepas sekitar jam 4 petang - 3 bulan dari tarikh amah yg berusia 23 tahun itu mula bekerja.
Mangsa kemudian mendapat tahu yg amah itu turut terlibat dalam 4 kejadian berasingan yg turut melarikan barang berharga milik majikan.
A MAN who badly needed a maid for his family went to an agency and was told that one was available but it would not take responsibility for the woman if he decides to hire her.
After three months of working with the family at their home in Alor Star, the maid disappeared with RM10,000 and jewellery, Kwong Wah Yit Poh reported.
The 23-year-old maid went missing with the loot at about 4pm on Feb 28, the employer said.
He said he learned that the maid had worked elsewhere before and on at least four occasions ran away with her employers’ belongings.
He was too desperate so he hired the woman despite knowing her history and the agency had also told him that it would not accept any responsibility for the maid’s actions.
